Gamewatch Information:

The crowd waits…the tension builds…it’s time…This Saturday at 12:30pm PST the black is back in action for the first game of the season!  Our beloved Hawkeyes open 2012 at the neutral site of Soldier Field in Chicago, IL where they will take on the Huskies of Northern Illinois. The Hawkeyes made this very same trip 5 years ago and escaped with a lackluster 16-3 victory.  This year the Hawkeyes will need to be up to the challenge.  The Huskies come into the game returning 19 of 22 starters from last season and are currently riding the nation’s longest winning streak at 9 games.  The Hawkeyes welcome a set of new coordinators – Phil Parker on defense and Greg Davis on offense.  Based on the Spring Game the Hawkeyes should have much different look on both sides of the ball but the results and expectations should be the same – WIN!!!

Please join us at ANY one of four (4) official Barney’s gamewatch locations and enjoy 35% of food and 50% of beverages to any Iowa fan who wears something with Iowa on it (offer valid during the game only).

This week’s raffle will be at Barney’s Beanery SANTA MONICA.

We look forward to seeing everyone.  GO HAWKS!!!
