Iowa Alumni at the Odyssey Theatre

Plays 411

“My Sister,” running currently at the Odyssey Theatre in Los Angeles, stars two Iowa alums–and sisters. The play was written by a third Iowa alum.

The play won two awards at the Hollywood Fringe Festival–the Duende Distinction Award for acting for each of the sisters, Emily and Elizabeth Hinkler.

The playwright is Janet Schlapkohl, an Adjunct Professor at the University of Iowa.

The remaining performances are

Wednesday, February 24 at 8:00 p.m.

Thursdays, February 11 & 18, and March 3 at 8:00 p.m.

Fridays, February 5, 12, 19, & 26, and March 4 & 11 at 8:00 p.m.

Saturdays, February 6, 13, 20, & 27, and March 5 & 12 at 8:00 p.m.

Sundays, February 7, 14, 21, & 28, and March 6 & 13 at 2:00 p.m.
